The Germans don’t write Fussball. It’s called Fußball because it is a LONG “u”. We only use the double s when we pronounce something short. But we say “Fuuuuuuuuußball” cuz of a looooooooong u. And not Fussball.
Yeah, it’s actually the Swiss version of the word: We write “Fussball” because we never use the “ß”

That would be weird, but you never use the word in this context in the German language. The product “Kinder surprise” is always called “Kinderüberraschung” and never just “Kinder” for example.
